After 13 successful years of coffee roasting in Whitefish, MT, R.C. Beall was growing homesick for the Lone Star State. Beall assumed that expanding his business to Texas would give him access to a wider audience of national customers while also allowing him more quality time with his family. So, he hoisted his saddle and got back on the trail to Austin, TX. Shortly after his arrival, Beall reunited with high school sweetheart, Beth, and the two were hitched in October of that same year.
Using the same grassroots strategy that launched Montana Coffee Traders over a decade earlier, R.C. started Texas Coffee Traders with local business in mind. From the beginning, TCT has been a family business – a family that happily calls Austin home. Just like MCT, TCT supports a wide variety of local events and fundraisers and is fully integrated in the community as a business, an employer and a neighbor. Texas Coffee Traders is fully committed to their growers, their employees and their fair city.
