Coffee Story:

Since 2005, Montana Coffee Traders has proudly participated in the Cup of Excellence coffee competition. This esteemed award is given out to top coffees, which are selected and scored by a national and international jury.

We are excited to bring you the second place winner in this year's Honduras Cup of Excellence. Dedication and passion led Jorge Alberyo Vallecillo Yanez of El Matazano farm to claim this honor. Harvesting coffee has been a family tradition for the past 19 years, and experience has proven to be influential in the success of the coffee. With the addition of careful planting, harvesting and milling, the coffees of El Matazano continue to win in the Cup of Excellence over the years.
