NIGHT BAKER – Position Summary:  All culinary staff are responsible for producing MCT food products in a consistently sanitary and safe manner utilizing the freshest ingredients and sound cooking principles.  All personnel are responsible for communicating and conducting themselves as positive team members and in a consistently informed and positive, upbeat manner.  Night Bakers fill all baking requisitions for cafés.

  1. Scone, cookie, bar and pie crust dough production and baking
  2. Muffin , coffee cake & quickbread batter production and baking
  3. Quiche:  pie crust dough and quiche shell prep
  4. Danish and other specialty baked goods production and baking.
  5. Maintain clean and sanitary work area to include wiping down equipment, refrigeration and floors.

Day Bakers provide prep support for the Night Bakers.

DISWASHER/PREPCOOK-

Prep cook experience is necessary. Good knife skills are a plus as well as food assembly skills. Must be able to follow all Montana Health Department Standards & Montana Coffee Traders rotation, labeling, temperature and handling standards. Be able to lift and move a minimum of 30 lbs.

 

 

BARISTA/SERVERS

Seasonal/Full Time barista/server for a fast paced breakfast/lunch café in Columbia Falls. Must be available until September, have flexible schedule, and enjoy customer service. Previous coffee experience preferred but not required.

Customer Service Representative

Job Description

 

Overview of Position:

The Customer Service Representative position will have the primary focus on phone sales, email and web communications with all customers This includes managing customer orders, order entry, general customer services, customer relations, working with Sales Representatives, Production, Purchasing, and other departments within the company.

Full Time: Shift coverage requiring Monday- Friday                                    

Hours per week: 30-40

 Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage incoming phones calls from all types of customers
  • Utilize computer system, email and web site to manage customer communications, and multi-line phone system
  • Accept and document customer orders from all sources (fax, email, Sales Representatives, phones, Retail, Purchasing, etc)
  • Manage all customer inquiries and complaints to a satisfactory conclusion for the customer and Montana Coffee Traders
  • Participate in department duties as required such as opening, closing, pulling web orders, voicemail orders, and any other duties needed to complete the work day
  • Read and maintain a personal library of coffee industry material such as techniques, products, pertinent account notes, and shipping carriers
  • Utilize company computer system to enter orders, track orders, enter changes and customer notes
  • Work with all Montana Coffee Traders' employees to ensure a continuity of service to all customers
  • Forward CSR Department needs/concerns and/or suggestions from other *departments within Montana Coffee Traders to CSR/Distribution Manager

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

BA or BS preferred

Degree in a related business field preferred

Experience:

Be able to demonstrate:

  • Understanding concept of Customer Service
  • Typing and 10 key calculator proficiency
  • Organization skills
  • Problem solving skills

Possess experience working with customers in a selling/services capacity

A general understanding of brewers, coffee equipment, espresso machines, and grinders is desired

Ability to explain products and sell over the phone

Personality to withstand pressures of solving customer complaints and issues

Flexibility in a dynamic and changing work environment

Be self directed and willing to work with a team.

Be able to set and reach goals
