Roundsman Prep Cook/Dishwasher
FT 30+ hours/week Prep Cook with kitchen experience and willing to help in dishpit. Busy breakfast & lunch restaurant. Seasonal position. I. Food Preparation (A) Following all Montana Health Department Standards & MCT rotation, labeling, temperature and handling standards. To be certified with passing grade in Serve Safe via FVCC as scheduled and sponsored by MCT. (B) Safe Knife Handling (C) Follow Standardized MCT Recipes (D) Produce Daily Shift prep list that includes cutting vegetables, slicing meats and cheeses, salad dressings, sauces and simple batch recipes (G) Be able to lift and move a minimum of 30# (H) Work all three Cafés as scheduled and familiar with all Prep Cook and Line Cook responsibilities. (I) Line Stocking and Storing food products according to FIFO procedures. (J) Operate and restock dishes and cooking equipment on ongoing basis throughout service as needed. (K) Maintain MCT Culinary Dress Code Standard II. Menu Knowledge (A) Understand all menu items, ingredients and production techniques. (B) Describing and recommending food options off of our menu and being knowledgeable of and communicating possible food allergens. (C) Knowledge of local and MT grown products.
