Bali Blue Moon
Bali Blue Moon has a remarkably bright and lively character along with a smooth, creamy body. The ripe red cherries are prepared in the washed method that contributes to the clean finish in the cup. This careful preparation distinguishes Blue Moon from other Indonesian coffees. It has the characteristic full-bodied smoothness of coffees from Sumatra and Indonesia but without a hint of the earthiness that those coffees can exhibit. It takes some extra roasting to bring out the richness of the coffee and a midlevel medium roast highlights the body without compromising the liveliness of the coffee. Excellent with dessert or when a slightly heavier bodied coffee is desired. $10.75/12oz. bag. $28.80/3lb bag.

COE El Salvador Finca Suiza 07
For over 50 years the Menendez family of El Salvador have been growing great coffee on their farm, Finca Suiza, in the Northwest region of the country. Abundant rainfall, high elevation, volcanic soil and careful attention to detail secured Suiza coffee a 2nd place finish in this years Cup of Excellence competition and the prestigious Presidential award with a score of 92.13. The coffee selected for the competition was harvested from the highest part of the farm over a month’s time and the cherry was hand sorted twice to assure only ripe cherry was used and submitted for competition. This attention resulted in a coffee with full, rich sweetness and a bright clean finish. The creamy, vanilla body of the coffee contributes to the smooth cup and the long lingering finish. $17.25/12 oz. bag. $49.60/3lb bag.
